Our techs, once they’ve graduated out of 1-3 weeks worth of training, typically earn between $18-$22 per hour BUT it’s only for the time spent cleaning inside the customer’s home. We do not pay for drive-time between houses or prep time in the morning.

If working a full 5 days a week Monday – Friday, weekly wages during training is anywhere between $400 – $500. Once out of training, the average weekly earnings (before taxes) is between $500 – $700. In addition to that, we also have a monthly performance bonus which could net you up to an additional $135 on the first Friday of each month.

We do not offer “flex scheduling” like you’d find with Uber or DoorDash which allows you to turn on/off your availability. And, while we are not opposed to hiring part-time workers, we prefer to reserve any available openings for those seeking full time employment. Full time for us means working Monday through Friday from 8am until work is complete (2:30pm – 4:30pm). If you’re seeking part-time work, you’d have to be available for at least 3 days a week and be available to work the entire day when scheduled…. we do not offer “half-day” schedules. We also do not offer or guarantee that you’ll be off by a certain time… like 2pm, for those who would want to be home in time to get their child off the school bus. (Additionally, part-time workers are not eligible for benefits or paid-day-off bonuses.)

We do not typically hire “couples” or friends or siblings with the intent on allowing them to work together as a team. If you were to be hired and your employment works out well and you then refer a sibling, spouse or friend, we would consider their application but would never hire them under the condition that you and they be allowed to work exclusively together.

No… but it definitely helps. Regardless of experience, all new-hires go through a certain degree of training. For those with experience, it’s more about learning how we here at The Maid Crew do things. If you don’t have experience it will probably take you longer to get through training as you’ll have to learn new habits, patterns, tips & tricks of the trade. In the end, what we’re really looking for is not necessarily experience but someone that’s reliable, works well with others, is teachable, respectful, and who can keep up with their coworkers and who genuinely cares about blessing others through their cleaning abilities.

With each employment ad we run, we literally filter through hundreds of applications just to find the few candidates that look like they might be a good fit. Once we’ve narrowed down our search, we send out invitations for an in-person, face-to-face meeting at our office. Once we’ve completed interviewing all the candidates, it’s simply a matter of determining who would be the best fit based on additional factors & considerations built into the recruitment process such as: Reference Checks, Background Check, Drug Screening, etc.

If you have applied with us before or if you do not receive a response this time around, feel free submit another application…. this will let us know you’re still interested and would like to be reconsidered.

In addition to the great pay we offer, here are some additional perks that come with the job.

— Paid Days Off: Each Team Member has the ability to earn up to 12 Paid Days Off a year. When you add in your Paid Birthday off, that’s more than 2 ½ weeks of vacation.

— Paid Birthday Off: We all inwardly cherish and anticipate that one day of the year that we get blessed and lavished on by others. It’s YOUR birthday and we’d like to share in honoring you on your special day by paying you to take the day off…. go make some noise!

— Holidays Off: The Maid Crew is closed in honor of the following five major federally recognized holidays: New Years Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving (including Black Friday) and Christmas (including Christmas Eve). We do not offer “holiday pay” however, an employee may opt to get paid for these days through the redemption of Paid Day Off Vouchers.

— Tips: While we do have some generous clients that love to tip, some clients just need a little extra push to reward your good work. By Nov 1, 2020, we’ll be coming out with a “feedback request” form that, if/when the client rates you or your team with 5 Stars, a tipping option will be displayed allowing them to charge a tip to a credit card of their choice. The better the cleaning, the more likely or larger the tip.

— Health Care Coverage: In the works.

— Vision & Dental: In the works

— 401K: In the works

— No Working Nights or Weekends: This is the #1 perk that candidates and employees point to as reason for wanting to work at The Maid Crew. We get it… no one likes having to work when others are off. Working nights & weekends means missing out on all the barbeques, birthday get-togethers, family outings, weekend trips to the beach…. well, no more. Enjoy & spend your nights and weekends any way you like… just make sure you’re back & ready for work Monday @ 8am.

— Occasional Saturday Work Available: If you’re needing some extra income, we do occasionally have clients asking if we provide services on the weekend. We tell them “Only if we have workers interested earning some extra money.” We never require anyone to take on extra weekend work, so if we don’t get any volunteers, we tell the client that we’re not able to service them.

— Random Surprises: There will be occasions in which management will surprise everyone with breakfast pastries and beverages, or a birthday cake to celebrate everyone’s birthday for the month. Once or twice a year we organize a company paid outing to a local restaurant or game arena. Your fellow team mates may also surprise you with bringing in fresh baked desserts and such. Yum! Oh, and we have an old-timey popcorn machine that churns out movie-theatre style popcorn, not to mention the readily available over-sized jar of peanut M&Ms. What could be more enjoyable after a long day of cleaning than to come back to the office to the smell of fresh popped, buttery salted popcorn & candy?

No. The Maid Crew has its own company vehicles which teams use to get to & from the jobs throughout the day. If you want to work solo on a permanent basis, you will need to use your own vehicle at that point…. same goes for if you need to be off early or if you come in late, you’ll have to meet up with the team wherever they may be and you’ll have to get there using your own car.
